Requirements:

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

•At least 3 years of previous seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer on tankers

•At least 1 year of previous shore based experience as a Technical Superintendent, however a Chief Engineer with proved good sea records would be considered as well

•Experience in operating slow speed engines

•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

•High initiative, professionalism and responsibility

•Ability to work under pressure

•Excellent command of the written and spoken English language

•Ability to travel on short notice
